14-day Prayer Fasting

Join our 14-day prayer and fasting plan.

Why fast?

Fasting brings humility before God, draws us closer, and strengthen our relationship with Him. We rely more on God's guidance as we rid of our own desires and habits.

If you're new to fasting, our leaders have prepared a guide for you!

Day 1

Let's pray and have the desire for the overwhelming love of God to overflow in us and NextGen; that we can experience His gentle touch as well as His authority and mighty power.

Day 2

When was the last time you have really sat down and just be in God’s presence?

Day 3

Lets take this time of fasting to also let go of whats been holding us, be it the worldly things or our bitterness, our disappointment, our hurts and start forgiving, loving and running back to God.

Day 4

Our hope in Christ is not just a fleeting feeling, but a deep-rooted certainty that anchors us in all of life’s storms.

Day 5

Worshiping a false god in your life? The term 'worship' is not uncommon in our life. However, do we truly understand the meaning of worship?

Day 6

My feelings are not God. God is God.

My feelings do not define the truth.

God’s word defines the truth.

My feelings are echoes and responses to what my mind perceives.

Day 7

Our human nature makes it easy to be swayed and led astray from obeying God. Many factors, such as habitual behaviour and the allure of instant rewards, can tempt us to take the easier path of disobedience.

Day 8

The Power in Weakness 💪🏻

We often approach weakness with the mindset that weakness is something to be overcome. Though, our true challenge lies not in our weakness, but in our failure to acknowledge them.

Day 9

Hold on to your first love to Jesus

This is the Word of Jesus to the Church in Ephesus: "I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance... Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first." (Revelation 2:1-7)

Day 10

Passing The Test

(2) Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands. (3) He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Day 11

Loving each other as God has loved us

In this season, it is important for us to learn to love each other as much as God has loved us, we must learn to accept each other's mistakes/shortcomings and instead work together to fix them. We must be patient with each other as no one is perfect and we should love each other in the way that Christ has loved us, which is also called Agape. So how has God loved us?

Day 12

Finding Peace Through The Storm

"I have told you these things so that in Me you may have perfect peace. In the world, you will have tribulation, distress, and suffering, but be courageous—be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy—for I have overcome the world."

John 16:33

Day 13

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

I always love the song "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", indeed it is a heartfelt call to focus our attention and hearts on Christ, especially during life's challenges and distractions. Today's devotion, inspired by Hebrews 12:2 - "fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith,"

Day 14

God has loved us first even before we love Him

John 3:16-17

”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
