Day 3

Jenifer
1. Prepare for a new thing that is coming ✨✨
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19 NLT
Be prepared and be hopeful. He is doing something new in the midst of us, our community, our situations, our school, our work, and our family. The new fire that we will experience and see will not look like anything before but something new, something better, something greater.
Let's prepare ourselves mentally, spiritually, and physically for the battles in our lives and what's ahead.
2. A call to purify ourselves 💦
“Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.””Joshua 3:5 NLT
This fasting is a call to purify and consecrate ourselves before God, to prepare us for what ahead. He chose us first before we chose Him. Let us all not miss what He has for us due to not being prepared. Let’s put the armors of God and be part of the army for Jesus.
3. Let go of the old, prepare for the new 🍷 ✨
As I was preparing, the third time again I was reminded:
““And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved.””
Matthew 9:17 NLT
As part of the preparation, let go of the old. Prepare for the new. Lets take this time of fasting to also let go of whats been holding us, be it the worldly things or our bitterness, our disappointment, our hurts and start forgiving, loving and running back to God. 3 times He reminded about the new thing that is coming ahead. Be faithful and lets prepare ourselves for the new thing ahead 🙏🏻
