Day 2

Day 2

Matthew

1. Coming back to Him ✝

Many times, the voice of the Holy Spirit gets drowned out by all the noise of the world. Your games, Netflix, or even relationships. This is not to say you cannot enjoy the things of this world, because the things of this world are still God’s creations and are designed to glorify God (only if you use them the right way).

Thought Provoker 😱😱 - when was the last time you have really sat down and just be in God’s presence?

This is the time to reflect on your life, have you lived in a way that honors God? or have you been living a life so attached to worldly things that people even begin to question whether you are even a Christian?

The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians 5 : 19 - 21

2. The Hope 💪💪

But do not be afraid, Jesus still loves us. In the parable of the prodigal son, even after the son had spent all he had taken from his father and squandered it all away, the father still loved and embraced his son when he came back. Similarly, our Father in Heaven is waiting for you to come back to Him. He wants you and He loves you. So come back to Him, come back to your Father, and repent.

Remember that nothing you do can ever separate you from the love of God. Not your sin, not the people around you, and definitely not the bad choices you may have made in the past.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8 : 38 - 39
