Romans 5 : 5
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us."
1. Jesus Loves Us
We're coming back to the simple but profound truth that Jesus loves us deeply. The lineup for the event will revolve around experiencing His love on a profound level. Remember, His love is more than enough for each of us.
3. Purifying Ourselves
Just like the Israelites in Joshua's time, lets set this month as a commitment to seek Him together and purify ourselves in His love. We'll start with the core team, possibly including prayer and fasting, and the love and fire we find will flow to the congregation during the event.
2. Going back to the First Love
A song unexpectedly appeared during quiet time, reminding us that God's got everything under control. We just need to find our ground in Him and seek Him first.
4. Trusting in God
We're reminded of Psalm 31:14, which speaks about confidently trusting in God. It's easier said than done, but His love and mercy will cover us. He brought us this far and won't leave us. Our first priority is to put Him at the centre.
